Marriage is among the most sacred expressions of love known to humankind. As you converge on this new road as one, your declaration of commitment is truly a momentous occasion. Here at Unity of Southeast Texas, we honor the timeless tradition of marriage, while assisting you in creating a unique and memorable ceremony. We welcome and embrace people on all spiritual plains, of every religion and culture. You do not have to be a member of Unity to have your wedding at our lovely facility. We are a non-denominational, interfaith community, and our Wedding Team wants to help make your special day a joyous one.
Our experienced minister would love to officiate your ceremony and is also available for counseling. She will also collaborate with you to help you find the best options to reflect your personal style.
Your Ceremony… Your Way
We strive to create a warm and inviting environment in which to declare your love for one another. Together with the officiant, we’ll personalize the ceremony to your specific wishes. The order of service, vows, exchange of rings, unity candle lighting – or anything else that will help to make this day your own – will be tailored to reflect you as a couple. All Holy Unions, Vow Renewals and other special services are welcome.
Our beautiful facility accommodates wedding parties of different sizes. We will arrange a very intimate setting of up to 10 people to over 75 guests. We also have a Fellowship Hall that beautifully transforms into a reception area with seating for 100 guests.
We’d be more than happy to officiate your ceremony at any area park, reception hall, or even your private residence. We’re here to make your day memorable.

Christenings
Christening is an ancient ritual that predates even the earliest Christian traditions. The rite and the interpretation of its meaning have undergone many changes over time, and today christening is practiced in many different ways. The purpose of Christening is to recognize the spiritual identity and purpose of a soul. In Unity, we look to the example of Jesus as our guide.
In Mark 10: 13-16 we read that Jesus took children in his arms and blessed them.
Christening in Unity is the act of welcoming a child into our world and recognizing this soul by name in its human journey. It is a time for parents to dedicate themselves to raising their child in an awareness of God’s loving presence.
Godparents ~ You may choose as many people as you wish, or have no Godparents. There is no legal obligation or responsibility made through a Christening service.
Spiritual Baptisms ~ For children and adults, we also provide a baptism service.
Memorial Services
At the time of the passing of a loved one, many people want a service and don’t know where to turn. We are here to support people in times of grief and loss. We can provide services at the location of your choice. Our services are positive, uplifting celebrations of the life lived. We honor each person’s spiritual traditions.
Home Blessings
A private home blessing ceremony acknowledges and honors your home as sacred space, a sanctuary of love, peace and joy. Many people request a home blessing as they settle into a new home or apartment, but a home blessing ceremony is appropriate at any time, whether you have just moved in or have lived in your home for many years.
